The condo is cozy yet spacious, clean, stylish, family friendly and it has a great energy! There is a grocery store and many restaurants only two blocks from the place Publix, Waffle House, Asian Restaurants and moreand a beautiful playground by the water and boats. He was very in touch throughout the stay. Always checking to make sure things were running smoothly! Nice dish sets, pots and pans, even a few seasonings. I made a drastic mistake and forgot to buy coffee!!! Drew had that handled already with coffee stocked! The place was nice and clean!
Unfortunately, we checked out days early due to hurricane Michael on the way! Drew worked out an agreeable refund. If we had decided to stay during that time, he had offered to bring us supplies to weigh it out!
I will for sure stay again. Also I have referred some friends who are headed their soon to help with disaster relief. I would give Drew 10 stars if I could!!! You won't be disappointed if you stay at any place that he has. We were hurricane Michael evacuees and Drew was able to make our unpleasant situation a little more pleasant. We will be using his place again in the near future!! You can't go wrong staying at Theodore's. My wife and I booked a week to celebrate our anniversary could not have had a more pleasant experience. The townhouse was above and beyond what we expected and the location couldn't be better.
Exceptionally clean and accommodating. Very quiet neighborhood tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Miracle Strip and yet so close to everything. The communication with Theodore made it very easy to anticipate the week.
My wife and I are already making plans for next year. As as long as Theodore is an airbnb host, we'll be staying with him when we come to town. Theodore was very hospitable and responds quickly. It was very private and comfortable. Very safe and relaxing place. Tabitha is very accommodating. The property is fairly new and our family loves the cleanliness of the home. We keep coming back to book this place our 2nd time around Highly recommended. We loved staying here! The place was very clean, and we had everything we needed.

It's a wonderful 2 minute walk to a private, quiet little beach, but also a short drive to the big ones in Destin and Fort Walton. The house is beautiful, comfy, and just big enough for a cozy couple or small group of friends.
I do recommend using the mattress topper for the pull-out couch, definitely makes a difference. Even though we didn't see Chris, check-in and out was very simple and he was always quick to respond to messages. Would have been helpful to have more than 1 skillet, though; different breakfast preferences make the morning a little difficult.
Chris was an excellent host! The Oakwood Lodge is very well-kept and conveniently located while still remaining quiet and quaint. The outdoor lights and booklet of local suggestions were just a couple of thoughtful touches that we enjoyed during our stay. Instructions for check-in and check-out were very straightforward and Chris was a responsive host! I would stay again, and maybe next time take the host up on his offer to try one of his home brews: Good stay for the price.
Although the TV did not work at all times, Bill did offer to drive down instantly to fix it. He and Lisa are very nice hosts. Nice, clean mattresses, pillow and linens.
Ice Maker in fridge does not work in Unit 4, so prepare to buy ice. That is a small issue that I am just throwing out there for future renters, but not a deal breaker for our family. It is not a direct ocean view, but the beach is just acrossed the road and is convenient. Plenty of dishes, coffee pods and towels. Overall a good experience and would recommend for the price. Convenient to beach, shops and Boardwalk.
Walking distance to boardwalk was a little too far with kids, though, but again, not a big issue for our family. We had a great experience, great location across the street from the beach. Bill was very accommodating, he let us check in early. Condo was clean and comfortable. The curb appeal is not the best Bill told me he's planning to make it look betterbut I felt safe enough to have dinner outside and go swimming at night.

Emma's place was terrific. The space was very clean and had been recently remodeled. She was able to provide me very late night access which was really great. The bed was comfy and the big kitchen was perfect to make myself a little breakfast. The AC unit was not properly working and when I tried to call and have the issue addressed, Emma sends a wise guy that wants to walk all over the conversation and NOT fix the problem. Far from professional even if it is a fairly nice place.

My husband and I planned a Destin vacation but were struggling to find an affordable place to stay. When we found Melinda's place it sounded too good to be true for the price. My husband was extremely hesitant because it had no reviews and it was so affordable but we went with it and it was great!

The place is nice, perfect in size, and you have your own bath and bedroom with a super comfy bed. For those who like their room cold, an extra air conditioning unit is provided in the bedroom. Jerome was kind enough to warm the place up for my cold-natured self. I really enjoyed having time to converse with Jerome, who is a genuinely kind and very interesting man.
